The Texas Seagrass Conservation Plan Review Workshop convened on June 11-12, 2009. You may download a meeting program and list of participants below.

Information regarding the workshop process and resulting proceedings will be provided as follows:

1.        Draft proceedings will be prepared including the overviews presented for each chapter as well as all the input provided at the workshop.
2.        The proceedings will be posted on the workshop website and emailed to all registered attendees for their review, and additional comments can be submitted to Nathan Kuhn at (512) 389-8061 or e-mail Nathan.Kuhn@tpwd.state.tx.us.
3.        The Seagrass Monitoring Workgroup will use input from the workshop to help guide the formulation of a set of recommendations for improving the Seagrass Conservation Plan for Texas.
4.        The workshop website will remain up after the meeting to allow attendees to get updates on the status of our post meeting process.
5.        A final version of the proceedings will be produced.
6.        The document will be posted on TPWD's Seagrass Monitoring Workgroup website.
7.        Finally the recommendations will be submitted by the Seagrass Monitoring Workgroup to the 3 state agencies (TPWD, TCEQ and TGLO) for their consideration.
