Where Will We Be Meeting?
Kayak drop off and pick up will be at the Ron R. Smith Paddle Trail at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi starting at 8:45AM. We will have volunteers helping unload kayaks if needed. All volunteers can park their cars at the Turtle Cove Parking Lot, near the baseball fields. Sign-in will take place at the gazebo.
We will be sending out a detailed map and more information to all registrants as the event date approaches!
What if I am a beginner kayaker?
That’s ok! We ask that you stay closer to the launch area until you feel comfortable. There will also be “safety leads” on the water in case you need help!

What We Will Provide:
- Kayak and Lifejackets (if needed)
- Up2U Trash Bags
- Gloves
- Long Sleeve Sun Shirt
- Trash Grabbers (First come, first serve)
What You Should Bring:
- Shoes (closed-toe) that you are willing to get wet/dirty
- Comfortable clothing
- Sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle
