A message from Kiersten Stanzel…
I am incredibly humbled and honored to be transitioning into the Executive Director role for CBBEP. As I step into this new role, I am very aware of the opportunities and challenges facing our coastal resources and the communities that rely on them. I look forward to aligning our diverse partners around a shared vision and securing the resources needed to protect our lands and waters in a way that enables people to thrive.
Also, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to our current Executive Director, Ray Allen, for leading the amazing work of this organization for the past twenty-plus years and for his mentorship during my time with CBBEP. I am looking forward to continuing to learn from him over the next several months as we work on creating a seamless transition process. It is important to recognize that this will be a team effort, and I am deeply grateful to the entire team here at CBBEP, including the Board of Directors, for their support and assistance in helping me transition into this position.
As CBBEP looks to adapt and respond to the changing needs of the Coastal Bend environment, I hope we can count on our numerous partners to join us in developing new and diverse strategies that drive innovation, strengthen our collective missions, and lead to significant conservation outcomes.
Sincerely,
Kiersten Stanzel, Director of Partnerships
