(2014) – We are partnering with researchers at Smithsonian Institute’s Migratory Bird Center, US Geological Survey and Oregon State University to advance our understanding of habitat use and migratory dynamics of Long-billed Curlews, Marbled Godwits, Black-bellied Plovers, and Red Knots several shorebird using state-of-the-art next generation tracking devices.  In addition to the research value, the Migratory Connectivity Project is focused on promoting full life-cycle stewardship for birds through social media and active engagement with the public.
