A message from Ray Allen…
After serving as CBBEP’s Executive Director for over two decades, I wanted to let you know that I will be retiring on September 1, 2022. I leave on the best of terms with a solid Board, experienced staff, and a great group of partners. I am excited about this new chapter and am looking forward to much more time with my family and grandkids, bird photography and wherever that may take me, and volunteering time with conservation organizations.
I am extremely proud of all that CBBEP staff, Board of Directors, and partners have accomplished during the past twenty-plus years and hold dear to my heart the relationships I’ve built during my time as Executive Director.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all who have been so supportive of the organization and of me personally over the years. Without you, the organization would not be as strong and vibrant as it is. I am so honored to have been the leader of this incredible organization for over 20 years and will watch with much excitement and anticipation as it continues to fulfill its mission.
The Board has chosen Dr. Kiersten Stanzel to take over as CBBEP’s Executive Director upon my retirement. I look forward to working with Kiersten over the next several months to ensure a smooth transition and am eager to watch as she takes over the leadership of CBBEP and implements her vision for the program moving forward.
Best,
Ray Allen
Executive Director
